Arts, Culinary Festival & More on the Sunshine Coast

Have you ever attended an art and cultural festival, a culinary festival, or a garden expo?
July is a fantastic month to visit the Sunshine Coast since it holds several significant events, the first of which is the Queensland Garden Expo.
Queensland Garden Expo
The Queensland Garden Expo is a three-day gardening event from July 8 to 10. Over 40,000 green thumbs and novice gardeners from Queensland nationally attend the event. It will display all of the best subtropical gardenings in Nambour Showgrounds on the gorgeous Sunshine Coast.
The Expo features an extensive Lecture and Demonstration Program, Landscape Display Gardens, over 360 booths, including 55 nurseries, a Giant Kitchen Garden Feature, and a food stage, to name a few. The Queensland Garden Expo is a terrific day out for the whole family, with great food, entertainment, and free children's activities.
NOOSA alive!
In 2002, David Williamson AO and his lovely wife Kristin Williamson founded the Noosa Long Weekend Festival with a group of friends, which later became known as NOOSA alive!
The massive event celebrates ten days of unique performing arts excitement with 25 activities carefully dispersed throughout the Noosa region! The stage is in some of Noosa's most spectacular venues, including The J Theatre, local school facilities, and the iconic Main Beach.
The festival's motivating backdrop is Noosa's unique natural environment and village-style ambience, which gives tourists stunning beaches and national parks, excellent food, cultural stimulus, and community events for all ages– an experience for the body, mind, and soul.
NOOSA alive! is coming back from July 21 to 31.
The Curated (side) Plate Culinary Festival
The Curated (side) Plate debuted in 2019, with international, national, and local chefs curating local produce for gastronomic audiences from the coast to the interior. Following the cancellation in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic's effects, the event made significant changes.
This winter, The Curated (side) Plateculinary festival will return to the Sunshine Coast (winter). However, they're delivering "a 2022-sized serving" to residents and visitors this time. From July 29 to August 7, restaurants, farms, tourism and event providers will open their doors for ten days, offering the best of the Sunshine Coast's local food and beverage experiences.
The Curated (side) Plate is a fantastic initiative that offers locals and visitors a wide range of unique culinary experiences from the Sunshine Coast's many farmers, chefs, restaurants and cafés, tourism and event experiences, and farm-gate activities. So prepare to unearth a plethora of undiscovered jewels this July.
