From the entertaining to the educational, inspirational to thought-provoking, NIFF will present Australian and international new release films and incredible shorts to an Australian-wide audience over the Festival weekend.
Escape to a world of cinema as discerning film-lovers and filmmakers descend on Noosa from 3-6 November to celebrate Australia’s newest film fest, the Noosa International Film Festival.
NIFF aspires to become one of Australia’s leading international film festivals featuring high-quality films and will become synonymous for showcasing film in its purest of forms and the art of making them.
Official selection screenings of up to 75 short films will feature, with filmmakers vying to compete for acclaimed award titles and prizes.
The Noosa Integrated Catchment Association’s home-grown Ecoflicks will be an integral part of the NIFF program in 2016, showcasing environmentally-themed short films that celebrate the importance of living in a biosphere.
Workshops for budding filmmakers as well as Masterclasses and an industry Q&A for aspiring professionals will inspire and encourage education and excellence in filmmaking.

Enjoy the Noosa International Film Festival from November 3 – 6 in Noosa Heads. The films will be screened in various venues in Noosa such as The J Noosa, Event Cinemas Noosa, Eumundi School of Arts Hall, and Pomona Majestic Theatre.
